The Great Pyramids

Well, not really, but today's workout did consist of push up pyramids from 1 to 15 and then back down - and it did seem pretty great. Nice upper body pump, and with only 20-30 seconds in between sets it took pretty much no time at all.

The back end of the workout consisted entirely of conditioning and mobility work - about twenty minutes of each.

I've got a lot of new things in the works - new articles, new challenges and new styles and methods of trying to reach new goals. Stick around, you won't be disappointed.

  1. Hi Jeff

My Name is Terence Mitchell, im a strength coach, light weight strongman competitor, aspiring old time strength prefomer and basically just a old school strength nut.

I noticed that you also love to tear cards, while at the moment a bit of a mystery has happened with my card tearing and im not sure what to do and i'd greatly appreciate your advice.

about 2 months ago i was tearing bicycle cards in to half and quaters quickly and neatly, then just like that i suddenly lost the ability to do this??

Now i just seem to rip my webbing on my left hand and make a mess of the deck, its strange as ive much stronger in the wrists and grips than 2 months ago from steel bending, horse shoe bending and heavy KB bottoms up presses.

this is very confusing and irritating and I wonder if you know any possible souloutions??

    Thank you very much!
